My Personal Beliefs
For those who would like to know more about what I believe, the following reflects my personal belief system and the basis of my faith. Please be assured, it is NOT necessary for you to share in my faith or my beliefs in order for me to effectively coach you. I respect all faiths and religions, and believe it is the privilege of all people to worship how, where, or what they may … or not at all.
I am a Christian, and more specifically, I belong to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. If you are curious about the tenets of the Church, there is much you can learn directly from the source at LDS.org or Mormon.org (Mormon is a nickname, not the true name of the Church).
In short, I believe in a Heavenly Father who loves each of His children without exception and in a merciful and kind Savior, Jesus Christ, whose love and light makes all healing possible.
ABOUT ENERGY WORK
One of the spiritual clearing methods I use daily for myself and my family is what I call The Light Work. I have been developing this spiritual healing practice since 2006, after I was given a book to read called Healing the Inner Self by Dr. Melvin Fish. The experiences he shared awakened within me a dormant intuitive gift of understanding and opened a door to greater spiritual awareness. I became aware of concepts that I had not been taught in previous years of gospel instruction, but that were immediately recognized by my spirit to be true.
After much study, pondering, and asking God in prayer, I received confirmation after confirmation from the Spirit that these principles are true and began to use them often. Line upon line, precept upon precept, day by day, and year after year, I have gained a deeper knowledge and understanding, enabling me to fully master this spiritual power in my life, and it has blessed my family abundantly.
Because I consider The Light Work a sacred privilege, I do not to charge for its use (or for other energy healing methods I may choose to use) in a coaching session. I charge for my time and expertise as a life coach or faith-based mentor. The use of any energy clearing, shifting, or healing methods is at my sole discretion, and not routinely included in, or necessary for, a regular coaching session. These abilities are part of a skillset that I use intuitively and as needed. If I feel guided, and a client is receptive, I may share with them how to call upon this healing power in their own life. If something comes up where I determine that The Light Work (or another healing modality) might be helpful, I may offer it as a solution to the client, who will then have the choice to opt in or out during a coaching or mentoring session. It is never done without permission, and when it is used, it is a gift that I share freely.
There are additional modalities that I have discovered and use often, like EFT, SimplyHealed, The Body Code System, and The Spirit Code. I believe they also were inspired by God and, though each work in different ways, I have found all to be effective.
I believe these healing practices have been given to relieve the suffering of God’s children and enable physical and emotional healing. They are all effective only through the principle of agency, faith, and humble submission to God’s Will for our lives. Remember, it was Christ, himself, who encouraged us to, “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock and it shall be opened unto you:” (Matthew 7:7).
What gives anyone the right to do what Christ did, you may ask? Christ himself instructed us, before his ascension to into heaven, “He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.” (John 14:12)
Every one of these healing practices were placed in my path in answer to prayer and, after confirmation from the Spirit that they are valid, in line with my gospel understanding, and acceptable to God (remember, [His] ways [are] higher than [our] ways …” Isaiah 55:9), and they have proven effective time and time again. They have blessed my life, and the lives of family and friends, in innumerable ways.
Again, it is not requisite for a client to subscribe to my beliefs in order for me to effectively coach them. I offer levels of coaching which do not include faith-based mentoring or energy healing practices. I just want to be transparent. My faith is a great part of who I am, the power behind my own personal healing and transformation, and the foundation upon which I’ve built my life.
Most importantly, I assure you that I respect your right to worship (or not worship) as you may and thank you for allowing me the same privilege. I do not use my business as an means to proselyte, though I am always open to sincere inquiries.
If you are uncomfortable with any of this, feel free to contact me for more understanding or clarification. If I’m not the right coach for you, that’s perfectly ok. Please know, I joyfully wish you well on your journey.
