Frequently Asked Questions

Self-Improvement

That really depends on you! The advantages to setting up a life coaching session would be that you are working with someone focused on you and your goals who can: - see things from an observer's perspective - can help you get clarity - can empower and guide your decision-making skills - hold you accountable While that can prove very valuable to you, it does require an investment of time and money. On the other hand, if money is an issue or you would rather not involve a coach, the self-guided online courses are very in-depth and valuable, too. I'm a firm believer in following your intuition. It really depends on what feels right to you.
Yes, of course. There is no right or wrong way to improve yourself, as long as you are seeking to improve yourself each day! Every individual is different and can benefit from either course of action or both. You can purchase a package of coaching sessions. Or you could purchase just one coaching session to get some clarity, and then select an online course. You might just dive right into an online course and feel like that is enough. ... or you may decide that now you are ready for a session. What is your intention and what will best support that intention?
I understand. I've been there. There is much on the blog that you can read and do to learn and grow. There are also many recommendations: books, products, and services. Some are free or might be checked out from the library. Some cost only a little. Some cost a lot. But, there are always plenty of resources here and on the internet to help you begin to make positive changes in your life. On occasion, I do offer deeply discounted or pro bono sessions for special circumstances. I do have a strong belief in an equal exchange, though, meaning people tend to value something more when they have made a personal sacrifice than when they receive something for nothing. What would you be willing to offer in exchange? (A testimonial? A service you provide? A commitment to work hard and make a difference in someone else's life?) Are you willing to pay it forward? This is not about money, but about the value it will bring to you. I want you to benefit as much as possible. You will profit more from being willing to make a sacrifice equal to the sacrifice you are asking of another's time and energy. Send me an email about your situation and what you're willing to do, and I will consider any reasonable request.
